Values come from the document as written. Text attributes such as the product description are copied from one continuous passage only; a value that cannot be found word for word in the PDF is rejected and marked No. Where a value is calculated or mapped (for example EPD module A1-A3 to the cradle-to-gate PCF), it is marked derived with the reasoning in the source note. A converted EPD or PEF is a first assessment and gap analysis, not a PACT-conformant PCF. Attributes set by the exchanging system (id, specVersion, created, status, precedingPfIds) are not extracted.
